Exploring the north of Thailand from Chiang Rai - we visited the "Golden Triangle" with Myanmar (Burma) and Laos.

From Thaton we took Longtail-Boats going down 80 km on the Me Kok River to Chiang Rai.

We crossed the boarder to Burma at Tichalek going for shopping and finally we took a boat to cross the Mekong to Laos -  at the golden buddha statue
